Hannah 9 Months

My sweet little Hannah turned 9 months old yesterday. This is the cliche thing to say, but seriously, WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE? The days are passing by faster and faster. I had the realization that in 3 months, we will be having a first birthday party!

Weight: 15 pounds

Clothing Size: Hannah is still in 6 months clothing, but they are getting snug. I will pull out and unpack the 9 month sizes soon!

Nicknames: Hannah Bug, Hannah Banana, Little Fart (I know, I know. Thanks to Grandpa Johnny, this is a term of endearment in this silly family.)

Teething: Hannah has been chewing, gnawing, drooling, and every other sign of growing pretty, little teefers, but still nothing has grown in.

Food: I am starting the process of weaning from breastfeeding (which is a whole other topic for another day) and she is mostly taking bottles of formula. She can hold your own bottle like a big girl! Hannah also LOVES eating food. She has mastered purees and I can't scoop it into her mouth fast enough. She loves finger foods as well, and is great at feeding herself. She loves puffs and yogurt melts as treats.

Sleeping: This is a very back-and-forth thing. One week, Hannah will sleep great at night with only one wake up. Lately, she has been more fussy getting down to sleep, with 2 wake ups during the night. Once she wakes up, she will not go back to sleep in her crib, and we will put her in the swing. She takes 2 naps during the day in her swing.

Milestones: Hannah is so close to crawling. She will get up on all fours and rock back and forth. It won't be too long until she takes off! She rolls EVERYWHERE! If I set her down on one end of the playroom, she will be in the living room within 2 seconds. She loves playing sitting up now.

Cute: Hannah's cutest moments this month are when she interacts with Claire. It is so fun to watch them be sisters together. Claire can get Hannah laughing so much. It is so cute! They take baths together at night and Hannah LOVES it when Claire splashes. The giggles these girls share together is so precious.

Likes: This month, Hannah likes eating food in general, toys (which she plays with actively now), bath time, tummy raspberries, and her sister Claire.

Dislikes: Hannah is not a fan of getting her nose wiped. My goodness! She also doesn't like having to wait when she is hungry. If I set her down when she is cranky, she is sure to let me know!

The past 9 months with you, my Hannah Bug, have been a pure joy. Your giggles complete my days. It has been so fun to watch you grow, learn and explore on your own. I can't wait to see how you change and grow over the next month!
